Services;

History and Physical Examination: discussion of family history and risk factors.

Cardiac Consultation: for ages over 12

Pre operative appointments: for cardiac clearance.

Cardiac Catheterization: done at Valley Medical Center, University Medical Center, Summerlin Medical Center, and MoutainView Medical Center.

Cardiac Output: diagnostic test for patients with a history ofhypertension, shortness of breath, or congestive heart failure.

Electrocardiogram: (EKG) diagnostic test to show rhythm and electrical conduction of the heart.

Echocardiogram:  an ultrasound of your heart and valves, to evaluate heart function and structure.

Carotid Ultrasound: an ultrasound of the cartoid arteries in the neck to assess any arterial disease and or plaque.

Venous Duplex Ultrasound: an ultrasound of the lower extremities specific to the veins and blood flow.

Lower Extremity Arterial Ultrasound: (LEA) an ultrasound specific to arteries and blood flow.

Treadmill Stress Test: exercise stress test to look for abnormalities when heart is at maximum heart rate.

Holter Monitor: monitor placed on patient for period of 24 hours to watch for any abnormalities in heart rate and or rhythm.

Event Monitor: monitor worn by patient for 30 days to evaluate abnormal heart rhythm.

Cholesterol testing: finger stick blood test to measure the good and bad cholesterol.

Wellness Exams: include BMI testing (body mass index) by Jim Muth, M.S., M.P.A., diet and exercise recommendations.
